VLOG: How I Launched My New Brand!

August 31, 2020

I’m excited to have another vlog-style update coming at you today! This video goes over pretty much EVERYTHING related to launching my new brand! I am so excited to share my strategy launching my new brand on Showit, running a shop sale with the launch, how I used Facebook ads to generate more sales, and EVEN share my sales numbers and what I made!

My New Brand

To start, I knew I needed a new brand by the end of this year. I launched my first online course this year, my YouTube channel is growing even more, I launched a set of shop products, I spoke at my first conference… so many things are happening so fast for my brand this year, and it’s evolving and changing and growing (which is a GOOD THING!)

With all of the growth of my brand this year, I knew my current brand isn’t what would take me to where I wanted to go. Overall, the main thing I wanted in my new brand is for it to 100% be ME and my PERSONALITY. As someone who has a personal brand, this is SO important and my previous brand wasn’t truly reflecting that. I wanted people to TRULY feel like they knew me and my vibe just by browsing my website! I wanted my website to be focused on ME and who I was, THEN the individual pages be geared towards my different offerings (including photography and education).

Launch Strategy

When it comes to having a new brand, I always encourage business owners to have a launch strategy. This really helps with getting everyone excited, driving traffic to your site, and so much more! So, I want to share some of my plans with my site.I didn’t do a whole lot of priming my audience leading up to the launch.

What does that even mean?! When you’re launching a new service, course, or other items like that, you want to prime your audience. This helps you show your credibility on that topic/niche and reminds your audience why they should work with or buy a product from you. You’d be doing this 2-3 weeks before your launch and when you announce your new item or course, everyone will already know you’re an expert so it makes TOTAL sense to buy from you!

A New Brand Launch Strategy

When it comes to launching a brand, there’s not really the same need to prime your audience. They don’t need to know you’re credible. But, there’s a lot of pieces of the process you can use to launch your brand. One thing I did was a fun Instagram quiz on my stories! This was interactive and a great way to let everyone know me. The last few questions asked what everyone thought I was launching. This super quick and interactive activity was an easy way to remind you I was launching something and get you excited to hear what it was!

Then leading up to the launch, I shared little nuggets of information regarding my brand launch. I was focusing on priming my audience for the branding photography I was about to launch – so I shared tips on branding posing, photography, and so much more so everyone was prepared when I launched that part of the brand! It helped show I was excited to my audience – and get them excited, too! Again, SUPER easy!! At the end of every branding related post, I made sure to remind my audience I was launching something related to that topic soon.  You can see more of my tips in the video – but, trust me, it’s easier than you think!! All of these little posts can get your audience REALLY excited about what’s coming!!!

Tell Me More…

Make sure you tune into the VLOG so you can hear all of the details for how I shared my new brand on my email list and in my Facebook group as well as my thoughts on how the launch went overall. Spoiler alert: It was AMAZING! Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this a success!
