The Client Experience Leading Up to the Wedding | Wedding Workflow 2

January 28, 2019

Today is part two of my Wedding Workflow series! If you haven’t seen part one yet, be sure to check it out here (or watch the video!). I’m going to walk you through what happens between when a client books me and their wedding day, and everything that goes on in my workflow!

Schedule an engagement session: After they book, we typically schedule their engagement session or at least have a time frame for one. I prefer to do it at least a few months before their big day, but this looks different for every couple! Some schedule it right way, some wait until close to their wedding.

Leading up to the wedding: We keep in touch and I always provide myself as a resource for wedding questions! I add all of my couples on social media to stay in touch as well.

Questionnaire: 2-3 months before their wedding, I send over an online questionnaire (17hats once again!) for them to fill out about their wedding. This lets them provide me with a ton of information on their timeline and vendors for their day!
Week of email and text: One week before their wedding, I send an email out with a few last minute reminders! This includes to remember to have all of their details ready when I arrive, have someone remind family to be ready for family formals, and a reminder to relax before their big day! The day before the wedding, I usually text my bride as well to check in, especially if I’ll need to grab the hotel room number for when we arrive the next morning.
