Last week, Michael and I traveled down to Nashville, Tennessee to photograph a wedding at Houston Station, a gorgeous venue near downtown Nashville! We were so excited to go there to explore the city together for the first time, so we decided to go down a couple days early to have some time to relax and do some fun things around the city. Thanks to many friends, we were given a ton of GREAT suggestions and feel like we got to do a lot in two days! We could have easily spent another week there exploring all the different places, but we were so happy with everywhere we went, from places to eat to things to do!

We stopped by the Belle Meade Plantation and wow, it is gorgeous! Not only is it a wedding venue (umm, how amazing would it be to photograph a wedding there?! Yes please!) but it is rich with history, and also had some amazing wine! We loved going on a tour there and strolling around the plantation. We also went down to 12th South to explore there. It was the cutest little area! We went to Frothy Monkey (best coffee shop down there), Draper James (Reese Witherspoon’s boutique), Five Daughter’s Bakery (COOLEST DONUTS), and a bunch of other little places in that area!

We also went downtown and ate on the rooftop of Rock Bottom. The view was AMAZING and super cool! Pinewood Social was also a super awesome place we went near downtown. It even has a bowling alley! It’s the neatest place, it also had an outdoor pool with an airstream and bocce ball! Another gem we found near our hotel was Cotton Snow, a place that sold shaved ice and cotton candy! I mean, how awesome is that?! It was actually really good to eat together! And definitely WAY too much sugar, haha!!

If you need any suggestions for where to go in Nashville, definitely hit some of the places we went to! :) We loved them ALL! What an awesome city with so much to do!! Enjoy some of the highlights from our trip!
