When Brittney first told me about doing some of their engagement photos in their new apartment, I was SO EXCITED! Since I already photographed a sweetheart session while they were dating and their proposal last year, it was the perfect way to give a ton of variety out of the photos we’ve already taken!! :) In addition to their apartment, we ventured out to a new park I had never been to before… and wow, was it worth it! We might have also made a quick stop alongside a random road for photos by a huge field. It was the BEST! ;)
Brittney and Josh are two are dear friends of Michael and I and we couldn’t be more THRILLED for them both as they are pursuing marriage!! I have loved photographing them at all the different stages of their lives… dating, proposal, engaged… and the next time I photograph them, they’ll be husband and WIFE! They are getting married at The Barn at White Fence Acres in Marengo, Ohio in LESS than two weeks… ahh! It’s coming so soon! I am so honored to photograph it, and my husband Michael will be a groomsmen!
Michael has known Josh for years, and I met them both the same summer Michael and I met. They originally met through the same church Michael and I did! It has been such a joy to see their relationship blossom from the start. I can still remember watching their first interactions and how their relationship began so quickly (and was long distance for the majority of it!) but how it was orchestrated so beautifully by Jesus. It’s truly amazing to see how they have so strongly stuck together through many times of distance apart from each other… but how they still pursue and love each other through it all. Their apartment is a couple blocks away from where Michael and I live, which made us SO EXCITED to have them so close by to hang out with! It’s truly a gift to have such good friends who end up being so close!! :)
