Bailey and Matt’s wedding day at the Scale Haus Banquet Barn was simply INCREDIBLE for so many reasons!! I’m so excited to share this light blue and blush outdoor wedding with you. It was a magical day with a church ceremony and a backyard reception under the string lights.

Matt is from New York and Bailey grew up in Ohio! Their paths crossed when they were placed in the same group project in medical school and the rest is history! Matt proposed on a special “birthday trip” to Hilton Head, one of Bailey’s favorite places in the world. He asked her to marry him on the beach, then surprised her by having their parents there afterward to celebrate their engagement with them!

I originally met these two at their engagement session, which we also did at the same place where their reception was held… which is ALSO where Bailey grew up!! Her parents own the beautiful barn venue. It’s such a beautiful location! They had the most amazing backyard wedding complete with the most beautiful details. There was even a photo booth truck that was simply ADORABLE and lawn games too! One thing I loved is how Bailey did such a good job at making all of their details so consistent. The illustration of the florals and of their adorable dog, Five, on their invitation was also included in so many of the other details of their day, especially at the reception! It was on all of the table numbers and on a welcome sign at the front. I love how it all came together, Bailey is so organized and definitely my kind of bride that I LOVE!!

I love how even though their wedding had over 200 guests, it felt more like an intimate wedding. It was a large celebration with a laid back feel. The bridal party was also AMAZING to work with, we had a blast getting to know them!! They couldn’t have been a better group, and Bailey and Matt’s parents were just as sweet as well. It was so fun to see it all unfold and to see the love and support that was shown all day long!!
