Last week, I had the pleasure of attending The Gathering Event hosted by Hope Taylor and Caroline Logan. I had a BLAST with Lauren and Liz road tripping all the way down to Virginia. The event took place at Stevenson Ridge, a beautiful old lodge that had the most perfect building for us all! We left early Tuesday, the event was Tuesday evening, then drove home the following day!!

I knew from the moment I heard about it, I wanted to go. I signed up the first day registration was open!! I’ve been following both Hope and Caroline for awhile, and they are absolutely incredible. They’re both only twenty and are already so successful in their photography businesses! I was so encouraged to hear from two other ladies about starting and owning a business while you’re young (or in highschool/college). They spoke on multiple topics, including how to (and how to not) deal with negativity, how to master Instagram, and how to overcome + take responsibility for failures in your business (and how you can actually turn them into a huge success). The morning after, Liz, Lauren, and I also strolled Fredericksburg, browsing the cute shops.

So happy I had the opportunity to go, and trust me- if there’s ever another, I’ll be the first to go again.
