Ashley and Tyler have been such a sweet, amazing couple since they booked with me! These two originally met through college (Ohio State) and quickly hit it off. The night they met, they talked for hours… then started dating the very next day! They soon knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. When Tyler decided to propose, he stopped to pick up a package with Ashley on the way home. He gave the package to her and asked her to marry him, in the same car where they first said they loved each other. I love how the spot was so special to them and how he used it for their proposal! :)

Their engagement session was actually the first time I had ever met the two of them in person, because they both live out of town in Boston. However, the Facetime calls and many emails back and forth in the past year definitely made me feel like I had met them months ago! We decided to head to Hocking Hills for their engagement session, and I’m so glad we did. Michael and I love to go hiking there, so I am already really familiar with the whole area…and it is beautiful! I loved having the opportunity to photograph a couple there in all the beautiful scenery, from tall trees to caves with waterfalls.

I have been eagerly looking forward to their wedding at Amelia Mirolo barn ever since they booked. It’s coming THIS Sunday, so expect to see some pretty wedding photos of these two very, very soon! :)
