Summer Wedding at The Estate at New Albany Venue in New Albany, Ohio

Get ready for one AMAZING blog post because guys, it’s a good one!! This wedding has been nearly two YEARS in the making and wow, was it simply incredible from start to finish. Shannon and Todd booked me as their wedding photographer way back in 2017… BEFORE they even had a venue or a date! Talk about a dream couple!! They knew they wanted me as their photographer and were willing to figure out a date and venue after they booked, so we could start their photography experience with their fall engagement session in German Village!

Their wedding day at The Estate at New Albany in central Ohio was filled with so much joy and one of the PRETTIEST color palettes I have ever seen! While we were hanging out on their wedding day, my second shooter (and shooting intern!) Monica asked Shannon about their proposal again… and it was SO fun to hear the story all over again! Shannon thought she had done all the arranging to go visit for her grandma’s birthday. Little did she know that Todd had another plan in mind! He was very particular about what time they arrived, because he was planning to PROPOSE at the Carrilon Bell Tower (Shannon is a huge history nerd and even worked here for a little bit).

If you know Shannon and Todd, you know that they are two of the most upbeat and outgoing people you’ll ever meet: not only as individuals, but especially as a couple. They have this special gift making everyone around them feel important and included in whatever is going on. We caught just a glimpse of this and their sweet personalities on their wedding day! It was so awesome to see how loved and supported they are by their friends and family! I’m incredibly honored to have photographed the wedding of these two incredibly humble, genuine, and kind people. I love my couples so much and these two are no exception!!

It’s truly been amazing to get to know these two over the past couple of years and to see their wedding day come to life! One of my FAVORITE parts of their wedding was, hands down, the first look.
