Where do I even begin?! This wedding holds a special place in my heart. Paige was one of my shooting interns for 2019 so after having her shoot weddings with me, I finally got to see her on the other side of the camera as a BRIDE. Cue all the emotions. Paige and Mike were married at one of my FAVORITE venues, The Estate at New Albany in New Albany, Ohio!

They could not have asked for a better day! It was sunny in the 70s at the PERFECT temperature. They had an outdoor ceremony with the reception inside the ballroom! I knew I was going to have SO much fun at this wedding because they are such a sweet couple, and because I knew their details were going to be amazing (I mean, she’s a photographer!! She gets it!) And boy, was I right!!! From all the bridal details (and grooms details! I love when I can do these!) at the beginning of the day to ALL of the different reception details, I seriously had all the heart eyes throughout the entire day! All things blush and gold and GORGEOUS!!

Not only is Paige an INCREDIBLY talented photographer, but she has the sweetest heart. She has the kind of personality that is incredibly calm and level headed, and is so sincere and genuine. She greeted me with a GIFT for myself AND my second shooter and assistant at the beginning of the day (SHE IS SO SWEET) While it’s completely unexpected, it really makes you feel so treasured! She has such a gift at making people feel loved and appreciated! At the end of the night, one of her bridesmaids thanked me for everything and told me how much Paige was looking forward to having me as her photographer… all I could think is how amazing that *I* got to be HER wedding photographer!!! It truly is an honor when another photographer picks you to shoot their big day, especially someone as talented as Paige. It’s the biggest compliment!

Paige and Mike together are such an amazing couple! Ever since their engagement session, I’ve LOVED getting to know even more about them over the months. They are HUGE fans of their dogs (they even made an appearance during cocktail hour for portraits, and they had a doggy treat bar as favors at the reception!!! I totally grabbed some for my puppy Ember!)

One of my favorite parts of their day (besides getting ADORABLE photos of them with their puppers!!) was the father daughter dance. It was incredibly emotional and the song choice had so much meaning. They were both in TEARS and so was the entire room… it was so powerful to witness! I also loved that they had a caricature artist at their reception. I’ve never seen that before and it was seriously SO cool and fascinating to watch!!

We had the best vendor team with some of my favs (Hanna with Le Reve and the Estate, love you both!!) as well as my second shooter, Michelle, and my assistant, Emily who came along to capture a lot of BTS footage! Seriously so grateful I was able to photograph this beautiful wedding day at the Estate at New Albany! Get ready for SO MANY amazing favorites!!
