I’m SO excited to share this engagement session with you today! From the moment I met Mary and Rishi, I KNEW I was going to absolutely love them. When we began their engagement session, it immediately felt like I was hanging out with old friends! We all click so well and it was seriously a BLAST photographing them!! We had the most perfect evening for their engagement session at Sharon Woods, one of my favorite locations for sessions in the Columbus area! It’s an absolutely beautiful park in Westerville, Ohio with a lake and gorgeous fields with lots of trees and wildflowers!
They are basically having TWO weddings next year, in the same weekend: an Indian wedding and an American wedding, one on Friday and one on the next day on Saturday! I can’t wait to celebrate with them all weekend long, it’s going to be so fun! Their American wedding is going to be at one of my favorite venues, The Club at Corazon.
Mary and Rishi originally met through Bumble! Rishi ended up messaging Mary through Facebook a few days afterward to set up a date, and Mary agreed, admiring his persistence. Their proposal took place at the Guild House, where Rishi had originally asked Mary to be his girlfriend. She ecstatically said YES and they were engaged!!
I actually received my first email from these two BEFORE they were engaged, because Mary knew that she wanted me as her photographer. DREAM couple, am I right?!
