Last month, my good friend Kelsie and I planned a baby shower for our other dear friend, Michelle! She is due with her baby boy THIS MONTH (it’s coming so fast!) The them was citrus and dusty blue, and oh my goodness, was it DREAMY! Don’t worry, we had a lot of safety precautions in place, including it being outdoors, everyone wearing masks, distancing, and having it open house style where people came in different time slots! It worked out really well – and I’m thankful we could find a safe way to celebrate! 

Citrus and Dusty Blue Baby Shower

The shower was outside in the back of Kelsie’s home, and it was the perfect spot to host the shower. We had a long table decorated with flowers and maternity photos of Michelle and Josh in clothespins that were stuck in oranges. We created an awesome food shelf (all single serve food) with a HUGE orange balloon arch display as well! 

One of my favorite parts in prepping for the shower was creating the photo backdrop with the dried oranges. YES, those are completely real! I spent the week before dehydrating orange slices and stringing them on fishing line… let me tell you, it was SO WORTH IT. It made the perfect photo backdrop for Michelle to open her presents in front of and to take some sweet maternity photos!
