I’m so excited to share this with you today because first off, I think this is one of the most VALUABLE pieces of information you can receive about wedding planning, and secondly, it’s written by one of the BEST in the industry! I love these ladies with Aisle and Co. and am SO grateful that Courtney took the time to write this guest post. It’s all about why you should hire a wedding planner and why it’s such an AMAZING idea for your big day! Enjoy everything she has to say!
“You’re engaged!! O.M.G. You kinda thought it was coming. You guys talked about it. You know he’s THE ONE. But you find yourself here. In this place, shortly after the engagement where you are trying to make sense of the overflow of emotions: pure excitement, overwhelming love, and maybe the little bit of anxiety over the sense of the unknown.
How do you even begin to plan a wedding? Where do you start? Who are you going to invite? Where on earth is it going to be? What are you going to eat? Band or DJ? AH! You get to wear a wedding dress! WHO is going to capture the biggest moment of your life? Do you want white linens? Should your bridesmaids all wear the same dresses? Are you going to do a First Look? What IS a first look?
Let’s not even begin asking the questions that don’t come to mind…
Will your DJ mic your officiant? Can your videographer hook sound up through them too? Who is going to put out your card box? Who will your cake lady call for directions into the venue when you are taking bridal party pictures? If everyone is already down at the altar, who is going to open the doors for you and your dad?! Who is cleaning up decor and dropping off gifts after the party? Before you know it, you are wide-eyed at 2:57 am creating notes and to-do lists, googling “tricks to a stress-free wedding day”
Let me help.

Our goal is to be your person. Your right-hand lady, your “go-to”! We want to be there with you step-by-step in the planning process to lend you advice, answers, or a safety pin, and a glass of champagne day of. We are here for your mothers when they ugly cry in the front row with tissues. We are here for your bridal party when your MOH wants her boobs taped to get that KimK look she’s going for, or for your Best Man when he spills his jack and coke all down his shirt.
We are here to be not only your wedding planner, but to feel like family. Just like family, we want the best for you, our client. We whole-heartedly believe every woman deserves to stand confidently at the altar in front of everyone who has made an impact on her life and declare they love that person, till the end. Forever. Month of Coordination is the package for brides who love checklists and planning. The ones who live to create excel spread sheets, but understand they might be a LITTLE too preoccupied day of to center the guest book table along the wall. We confirm details with your vendors. We walk through the venue with you. We create your minute-by-minute day of timeline. We know what your table scape should look like and exactly how you want to fold the napkins. You’ve clued us in to when we should tell the bartender to cut Uncle Bobby off. We watch your cards like a hawk, we pack up your decor, and most importantly, we let you RELAX and be present in the moment you’ve spent months preparing for.
If you’ve ever found yourself up at night pondering the details, or you like coffee and want a free cup on us, we would love to meet you to chat wedding day details and hear all about your love story.”
