I met Sarah and Rob in person for the first time the day before their wedding (at their engagement session)… but wow, when we left at the end of their wedding day, I felt like I had made some super fast friends. These two are so upbeat, giggly, and simply a JOY to be around, it was seriously an honor to serve them on their big day!! Wow, I can’t believe it’s already come and GONE! Their ceremony was at a beautiful Catholic church in downtown Columbus, and their reception was at the (AMAZING) Club at Corazon in Dublin, Ohio. It seriously felt like we were in Italy or something!
When I first arrived at their wedding, I went to Sarah’s mom’s house for her getting ready photos and oh my word. The windows and white walls were the BEST! Seriously a photographer’s DREAM! Future brides, if you’re still trying to figure out a great place to get ready… take some hints from this bride’s choice! :) Seriously so perfect. I am so grateful we were able to photograph all of the details and Sarah getting into her dress there! I loved getting to hang out with her bridesmaids, which included her two sisters. I have such a soft spot for sisters at weddings because I have three of them myself!!
Even though we wouldn’t have time for all of their portraits, Sarah and Rob really wanted to do a first look, so we made it happen! They wanted that special time to see each other before the ceremony, and oh, was it sweet! Cue the tears!! Their reactions were priceless. Rob was just admiring Sarah for minutes and giving her all the sweet compliments. What a precious memory!! I love how it gave us a chance to grab some portraits of the two of them at the church as well as at their reception venue! Does Rob know how to make Sarah giggle!! Snapping their portraits was EASY! He nailed the nuzzle and making Sarah laugh the whole way through!! :)
After their beautiful Catholic ceremony, we headed to their gorgeous reception. It was my first time shooting at the Club at Corazon, but oh my word, I wouldn’t mind going back every weekend!! The ivy wall, vineyard, and gorgeous stone walls make you feel like you’re somewhere in Europe… truly such a unique area and venue in the Columbus area!! I want to go back already!
Their reception was filled with some favorite memories, like their first dance (Sarah was a ballerina, so of course it was going to be amazing!), the sweetest toasts from their close friends, and a beautiful rainbow to end the night. Make sure to SCROLL to those portraits because they are DREAMY and like none other!! It might have down poured during the beginning of their reception but oh my goodness, does that make up for it!! It was DREAMY! Yes, they really got PORTRAITS with a rainbow behind them! :)
Sarah and Rob, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your wedding day! Wow, what a CELEBRATION! Can you believe you two are officially husband and WIFE? I am seriously so excited for you guys and can’t wait to see what’s in store for your lives as a married couple!

One thing Sarah told me she envisioned for her wedding day was photos of her and Rob strolling through the vineyard.. well, I think we NAILED IT!!

Right before the reception started, a huge storm was rolling in… it might have rained for an hour, but KEEP SCROLLING to see the dreamy sunset photos with a RAINBOW we got afterward!!
