In the past week, we’ve made a lot of progress on our vendors! :) We officially have a DJ, Josh Staley Productions, and a videographer, Jen from Loveletter Photography! I am so thrilled to have them on our day and have no doubt they will be excellent. We also have officially booked our honeymoon! We are going to Hancock, Massachusetts. Neither of us have been before, but it’s a really nice area with lots to do!! It’s right in the mountains and near a city, so there’s a lot to do outdoors as well as shopping & restaurants. We’re planning on staying for five nights, leaving the day after our wedding. It should be SO much fun! :)
We also received our save the dates in the mail! They’re going out this week sometime, with the invitations following in the next month or two. They turned out amazing! I ended up making my own template and ordering them through Catprint.com. They were so affordable to order, and the quality is incredible! I will also be using them for my invitations. I highly recommend Catprint if you’re looking to print somewhere yourself!
Lastly, I have officially chosen all of my ladies for my bridesmaids!! :) I can’t wait to introduce them all. I asked them by hand making notes for each one of them. The front of them was hand lettered, which said, “Will you be my bridesmaid.” The inside had a personalized note to each of them. It was so fun to use my calligraphy skills I’ve been working so hard to master. :)
When deciding who was going to be my Maid of Honor, I had no doubt who I wanted it to be. My sister, Melissa, has been my closest girlfriend throughout my entire life. We have been through a lot together (basically our whole lives ;) ) and have always connected really well, as sisters AND friends. :) She is one of the most caring, loving people I know. I am so excited to have her alongside me!
