Back in 2023, I had the opportunity to spend the weekend away with my family and sneak in a branding shoot in Charleston, South Carolina! I went with my husband, Michael, and our twin daughters. We stayed at the *dreamiest* Airbnb hosted by Yourpad Charleston. The house was a historic Victorian restoration, originally built in 1885. There was SO much unique beauty and charm in this place. Branding Shoot

While we were there, I had Tiffany McClure snag some brand photos for my business. Needless to say I was absolutely blown away by the results!!

Tiffany is also a great friend and one of the FIRST people I met when I moved to Greenville, SC a couple of years ago! We love hanging out with their sweet family, including lots of dinners out with the kiddos, a crazy Fourth of July rainstorm story, and enjoying the outdoors!! She has also become my go-to photographer. She captured the session SO beautifully and has also captured so many milestones for our family. I am beyond grateful for her bright and dreamy photography style and how it merged with my own business’ brand so well!

Prep for the Shoot

To prepare for the shoot, I started by pursuing Pinterest for inspiration. This is a huge part of my branding shoot prep (and, honestly, anything I’m creating or designing). Here’s what that inspo looked like:

On Location

We took tons of photos at the Airbnb, and then, we went outside downtown for more photos! One of my favorite things about Charleston is all of the beautiful, bright colors. The photos in front of the pink wall are some of my favorite brand photos I’ve ever taken – I will probably use them for years and years to come!!
