If you’ve ready much of my blog, you probably know a lot about what I love… pretty common topics are chocolate, my husband, and chai lattes. Haha. :) But even if you’ve read it all, here are 12 things you probably don’t know about me…
- I am terrible at keeping plants alive. I think I have the blackest thumb alive… I officially bought my first fake succulent last month after killing four since moving into our apartment this summer. Yeah, it’s bad.
- I used to be a horse rider! I rode English for 7 years through middle school and high school! I still hope to have my own horse someday in the future, it would be so fun!! :)
- I am terrible at singing! I always wish I could sing well, but it’s definitely not in my list of talents…
- I’m not a picky eater! I like to explore and try new foods. However, I do have a few things (that I do try over and over again!) that I still don’t like: cold tomatoes, pickles, and cherries. I will keep trying though!
- I have three sisters, and no brothers! Even my family’s dog is a girl… haha! :)
- I am a really fast at typing. My average typing speed is about 90 WPM so basically I can type faster than I can think, haha!
- I really don’t love cooking! I wish I loved it more, and occasionally I’ll get inspired to make something different. But it’s not something I love doing!! Very grateful for a husband who loves me anyway!! :) Haha.
- 90% of my wardrobe is from The Loft. I don’t think I share this very often! But it’s my favorite store EVER!!! Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love it, haha!
- The things I wanted to be when I grew up ranged from veterinarian (until I realized I didn’t like science, at all) to a horse riding instructor (until I realized that degree only applied to one job for forever!). I love animals so I always wanted to do something with animals growing up!! But photography quickly became my dream job in highschool, and my career began when I shot my first wedding at age 17!
- I get cold REALLY easily!! Summer is definitely my favorite season. I freeze like a popsicle in the winter time!! Michael got me a heated blanket for Christmas this year and I think it’s one of the best presents yet. I LOVE IT!!
- I’ve always wanted to have curly hair. At one point when I was 5 or 6 years old, I was even determined to wake up early every morning to curl my hair so it’d be curly. My hair is as straight as it gets, but I have to admit, I still love curling it every now and then. :)
- I’ve always been entrepreneurial! I sold “digital artwork” online in middle school, and actually made a few hundred dollars at it, haha! Even though I’m creative, I also LOVE the business side of things. I find them just as fun, which is one reason why my business fits me so well! :)
