Trip to South Carolina Part 1 – Edisto Island, Boone Hall Plantation, & Fort Sumter

Alright, so here is part one of my trip to South Carolina!! We stayed at a resort in Edisto Island, about an hour south of Charleston. I’m going to be honest… it was hot and VERY humid, but the live oak trees? STUNNING. They alone were worth the trip. And the beach houses were just so adorable. I loved how they were all different colors… there were even some that were neon teal and pink and yellow!

They also happen to have gorgeous live oak lined up all along the main road to the house. Definitely a must see if you every visit Charleston!

It was HUGE, and my pictures from my camera just aren’t the same as seeing it in person.. However, I did get a pretty sweet iPhone panorama photo. Take a look down below. :) It almost does it justice.

That’s it for today! Keep an eye out for part two on the blog next week… which will include Rainbow Row, the Charleston Tea Plantation (which is the ONLY tea plantation in North America), and some pretty beach sunset pictures. :) So stay tuned!! Have a great week!
