Last week, I had the chance to photograph the incredible Ashley Barlow, owner of Ashley Barlow Co. for her branding session. We met up at The Fig Room in Columbus Ohio for her branding portraits and it was SUCH a fun time! Ashley has an exuberant personality that was a true joy to capture and The Fig Room provided a beautiful blank canvas for us to capture her personalized portraits. I can’t wait to see how she uses all of these images in her business! Here’s a little peek into our branding session together and more about Ashley Barlow Co.!

Tell us about you and your brand! What do you do and who do you serve?

Ashley Barlow Co. provides special education advocacy trainings via digital courses, podcasts, and lots of free content! We serve parents, school staff, and volunteers in the community – anyone that supports a child on an IEP.

What made you initially decide to book a branding session?

My marketing consultant found Stephanie. She was really impressed with her website and interviewed her. I saw some of Stephanie’s branding work and knew she was right for me! I loved how she captured the personalities of each brand on her website.

What was your favorite part about your branding session with Stephanie?

Stephanie made the session so easy and fun! I did not feel the slightest bit awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera. She asked me a lot of questions, wanting to get everything just as I envisioned it. At the end she even gave me a ride after my car got towed! The VIP treatment!!!

What would you tell someone who is thinking about booking a branding session with Stephanie?

I’d say that Stephanie is a one-stop shop. We talked through the session on the phone first so that she knew what we envisioned. She really “got” the brand and understands marketing, which is key. She got right to business- but not in a bad way – in a professional way! And the images are amazing! Better than I could have dreamed of!
