I’m SO EXCITED to share this engagement session with you all!! Jillian and Phil are getting married this July at The Club at Corazon, one of my favorite venues ever. Ever since I met Jillian last year, I have been eagerly looking forward to their wedding day (and to get to meet Phil at their engagement session!) They are so upbeat and we had a BLAST capturing this sweet season of engagement for them!!
We went to the Scioto Mile near downtown Columbus to start their session. It was seriously PERFECT. We could not have asked for a more beautiful night! We had all the sunset GLOW and it was literally amazing. The Scioto Mile is such a great spot with so much variety in one location!! Then we went to Ohio State at the stadium in front of the shoe. This is where the proposal went down last summer!!
They originally met while was driving by her house and recognized her and her friend from work. He stopped to say hi and she was immediately super shy, but knew she wanted to get to know him more! He eventually got her number and they went out on their first date. They’ve been engaged now since last June after she said yes in front of the Ohio Stadium! She had NO idea it was coming, some of their family was even hiding in the bushes, waiting for it to happen!! Jillian knew they were going to get married someday, but figured the proposal wouldn’t happen until later in the year. To her surprise, it happened sooner than she expected and it was SO fun hearing them tell me all about how it happened!!
