I’m SO EXCITED for this post because I get to introduce you to some *amazing* ladies. In case you haven’t heard, I decided to bring on three shooting interns in my business! They are going to second shoot for me at all of my weddings for next year, plus I will be mentoring them along the way. We made it officially official this past fall and I couldn’t be more excited to have these ladies with me at my 2019 weddings.

The funny thing is, I actually knew them all already from different areas (they had either second shot or assisted me before, and one of them is my future 2019 brides!) but I totally didn’t expect that going in! I still went through with interviewing thoroughly before I came to my decision and it was 100% led by Jesus.

I’ll be introducing them individually early next spring (right before wedding season begins!) but I wanted to go ahead and share a little bit about the three of them here! We had our first meeting all together the first week of December and it was SO FUN. We ate (way too many) chocolate crinkles, got to know each other, and talked a little bit about what 2019 will look like. If you’re one of my 2019 couples, if Michael isn’t with me, one of these girls is going to come alongside me to shoot your wedding! :)

First up is Katelynn. This girl is SO BUBBLY and has so much positive energy! I love how she brings a serving heart to a wedding day. She is willing to do whatever it takes to make your day run smoothly! She actually lives in Kentucky and is going to come up to Ohio to second shoot with me. How awesome is that?! She is so dedicated and I can’t wait to have her along!

Next I want to introduce you to Monica! She started her business in the past year but is INSANELY talented. She also goes to Ohio State and is pursuing a career as a chiropractor! How cool is that! I can’t wait to see how her business grows because this girl is AMAZING. She is super outgoing and I love her upbeat, serving energy on a wedding day! This girl is seriously SO quick to help with whatever is needed.

Lastly I want to introduce you to Paige. This girl is SO SWEET. She has such a calm presence which is SUCH a blessing on a wedding day. She tells you everything is going to be okay, and half of that is keeping me sane on a wedding day! Ha! She is one of my 2019 brides and I can’t wait for HER wedding day too! <3 It’s going to be gorgeous!!

I say this all the time, but *I* really need my second shooters on a wedding day. Not just to help with whatever is needed (and shoot those killer second angles) but to encourage me mentally and emotionally. They are long days and doing it with someone else is CRUCIAL to thriving throughout the whole day… at least for me, it is!

I am so grateful for all of these three girls and am ALREADY so excited that I pursued bringing on interns! I can’t wait to continue to pour into them with our meetings and to see how their businesses grow from it. SO GRATEFUL. Can’t wait to photograph all of my 2019 weddings with these boss babes!
