Hello future brides!! If you’re anything like me, you love seeing all the pretty details from a wedding day. The rings, the shoes, the dress, the florals… all of it is so amazing to look at! It really helps to pull in all the different elements from your wedding day.

I always recommend to my brides that they put all of the pretty things in one bag or box, so all they have to do is hand it to me the morning of! This way, you can take full advantage of the time I’m there and not be running around trying to find everything when I arrive, and have even more photos of your details.

There are so many details to think about, so I’m here to share with you a full list of all the things you should consider bringing for your photographer:

• All 3 rings. This means you’ll need to hold onto them until your photographer is done photographing them with all your other details!
• Florals. Plan to have your bouquets & bouts arrive before your photographer arrives, so they can be included with the details! BONUS: Ask your florist to include any extra flowers they have, so your photographer can use them in styling!!
• Invitation suite. Be sure to stick a copy in your bag for your photographer to photograph as well! If you think you’ll forget, you can also mail them a copy they can bring the day of, just as a back-up!
• Shoes. This is a no-brainer!
• Bridal dress. I typically photograph this one first before tackling all the others collectively!
• Jewelry. If you’re wearing a necklace, earrings, bracelet, or anything other jewelry, be sure to include it all!
• Garter. If you’re wearing one, it’s always fun to include this with your details!
• Perfume. This is a fun addition to your details! One of my favorites!!
• Anything else you want photographed! If there are any other details that are important to you, be sure to include them in your bag or box. This could be anything sentimental as well, such as your grandmother’s handkerchief or your something new, old, borrowed, and blue!
• BONUS: Tell your groom to have his details ready for some photos of his things! This includes his shoes, tie, belt, watch, cufflinks, bout, cologne, and anything else he wants photographed!
