Emily and Steven are one of the sweetest, most genuine couples you’ll ever meet and now they’re husband and wife!! How EXCITING is that! Their wedding at Everal Barn in Westerville, Ohio was SO fun for a few reasons: Donuts, breakfast food, it was all outdoors, and it was so Christ-centered. It was truly a joy to photograph and to get to know these two!!
These two technically met years and years ago when they grew up as neighbors! So crazy, right?! There were even photos at the wedding of them together when they were toddlers. However, they reconnected later at a concert by mutual friends and that’s when they began dating. For their proposal, Steven took Emily to Inniswood and walked her around (with his sister following closely behind to get photos). When the time was right, he proposed in a private area amongst pine trees, asking her to marry him.
Because they had a brunch wedding, they had breakfast food and it was so fun to see them happily chatting with all of their guests during their wedding. Their wedding was a beautiful fall day, which was perfect for their outdoor wedding. Their ceremony was held out on the lawn in front of the barn, with their reception inside the barn. I loved how Christ-centered their wedding was, it’s truly so special to be a part of weddings where God is the focus! Their friends and families were so sweet and I loved getting to know them as well. The flower girl and the ring bearer were seriously ADORABLE – just wait until you see their photos, so stinkin’ cute!! They ended their day with a bubble exit, it was so fun to see many of their guests still present for their exit!
