From the moment I met Krystal and Brad, I KNEW they were going to be such a fun couple to work with… and wow, was I right!! I mean, just the fact alone that they are huge dog lovers and have an adorable golden is enough to know that we’re going to get along well. :) 

These two are getting married next year and I couldn’t be more excited for what they have planned! Their vision for their wedding day is simply AMAZING. Their reception is going to be at Juniper, a gorgeous new venue in town! I love shooting at new venues and I can’t WAIT for this one… the rooftop city view alone is incredible! It’s such a unique venue and I have no doubt it will be so fun to photograph their wedding there!!

These two live in German Village, so it was only fitting that we take their engagement photos there! They have an adorable Golden Retriever named Kudu, so of COURSE, she had to be included!! :) We began in their adorable home for some lifestyle in-home photos. These are always my favorite and I love incorporating my couples’ homes into their sessions!! Theirs was BEAUTIFUL and made for the perfect light and airy space to take some photos! They’re definitely going to treasure having these for years to come!

After shooting in their home, we headed outside to stroll German Village and walked down to Schiller Park, where they love taking their pup on walks every day. This is also where Brad proposed to Krystal… they took me to the exact spot where he asked her to marry him, and we were able to snap some super fun portraits there!!

Krystal and Brad, I am sincerely SO grateful that you took the time to do your session this week! I had such a BLAST with the two of you and cannot wait for your wedding next year. Ahh!! It’s going to be so amazing! Enjoy all of these favorites from your engagement session!
