Shea excitedly reached out to me pretty quickly after the got engaged, and wow, I was so honored she did!! :) She is also a photographer from South Carolina, so of course, I was BEYOND honored and grateful to be chosen to photograph her big day!! She and Dan are both from Ohio, but met going to Clemson University down in South Carolina. They were paired as Bible study leaders and became fast friends, but it wasn’t until later they started dating and the rest is history!! Dan proposed where he first prayed for his future wife, and oh, how sweet is that?!
They are such a sweet couple, and they brought me CHOCOLATE as a little gift to the engagement session. I mean, does it get any better than that?! They know the way to my heart!! ;) We headed to Ault Park in Cincinnati, Ohio for their engagement session and I was immediately so excited to go there! I have shot several weddings in the Cincy area but not any engagement sessions yet! Ault Park was simply so beautiful with so many gorgeous trees and the stone stairs and building. Not to mention, Shea and Dan made it so easy! They’re adorable and giggly and it felt like we had been friends for forever!
They’re both coming back here to Ohio for their wedding this August at Sauder Village in Archbold, Ohio. I’m so incredibly excited for their big day and can’t wait for what’s in store!! Dan and Shea, enjoy all of these favorites from your engagement session (be prepared, there are SO MANY! I couldn’t narrow it down anymore!!) :)
