If you’re a product based business wondering about how to use Instagram Reels, then today’s post and video are for you! I’m going to be sharing three ideas that you can literally take and run with to help your business using Instagram Reels. Remember to use these ideas as inspiration and put your own spin on it for YOUR business! Let’s get started.
IDEA #1: SHOW OFF YOUR PRODUCT
Within this idea, there’s so many things you can do! You can show off your product and how people use it by sharing actual customer photos. If your product is something someone can wear, consider putting together a Reel of you or your customers actually wearing the product. Whatever it is you make, show that product in action. People LOVE to see how to use something – and it helps them realize why they need your product. This is definitely a great way to just show off what you do and what makes it different from your competitors. You can also clearly show the benefits of purchasing from you! Being able to show a benefit is a great selling tool.

IDEA #2: SHOW YOUR PRODUCT CREATION PROCESS
The next idea is to show your product creation process. There’s so many ways to break this down, but audiences really love to see before and after or a process. Think about why there’s so many HGTV shows! You can show a quick before and after or you can do more stopped photos along the way. There’s also ways to show your storage, at home creation space, or how you package things up to send out. If your audience knows the process, they’re going to be so much more invested in the final product! Remember, these Reels don’t have to be complicated.

IDEA #3: USE TRENDS
The final Reel idea for product based businesses is to use a trending sound or music. This idea overlaps a bit with the first two, but it’s a really important option! The trending sound or audio can be background for the other kinds of examples we already talked about. For example, you can just play the sound in the background while you pack up your product. Or you can actually do whatever the trend is if you’re comfortable with that! People connect with people, so that’s always a great option. Jumping on trends helps us stay relevant on Reels, so this can be a smart way to get your content out to a wider audience.
