Alright friends, this is the third and FINAL part of my Wedding Workflow series! I’m sharing what my workflow looks like after the day of the wedding and how I serve my clients in this time!
Sneak peeks: The night of or morning after, I share a few sneak peeks on social media from their day! Typically I share at least one bride & groom shot and at least one bridal party shot. These two typically become fast favorites for profile & cover photos on Facebook! ;)
Culling: 1-3 days after their wedding, I start culling: going through and picking out what I want to keep. I get rid of all of the duplicate/out of focus/etc shots from their day, for my own photos and from my second photographer. I will also go through and cull for the blog after my initial cull through.
Curating the blog post: I edit all of the photos for their week-of blog post, then upload them into a post with a post I’ve written about them in their day! This happens no more than 7 days after their wedding.
Ordering their canvas: I surprise all of my clients with a gift canvas from their wedding (if you’re one of my future brides, shh! Just pretend you didn’t read this! ;))
Editing the full gallery: For 99% of my weddings, my amazing photo editor Donya edits the rest of the galleries for me. I chat more about this process HERE! Once she does that and sends it back to me, I will do a quick run through to make sure everything looks good to go. I then export from Lightroom then upload to Pixieset to send to my client. I tell my clients they’ll receive this within 4 weeks, but often it’s much sooner!
Albums: If my couple ordered albums, I will create the designs to send over within 2 weeks after they receive their gallery. They go through 2 rounds of revisions to finalize their design!
It’s a bit sad that the link where you were chatting about your photo editor dissapeared. :(
