Today I get to introduce you to PAIGE!!! She is one of my 2019 Shooting Interns and oh my goodness, honestly, I just feel so HONORED that she wants to shoot with *me*. Because ya’ll, this girl is MEGA TALENTED. Not only that, she has the BIGGEST heart to show up and serve all my sweet couples. Not only that, but I get to shoot HER wedding in October. How crazy awesome is that?! I am so excited to introduce you to her today!

I asked Paige to answer some questions so you can get to know her even better! If you’re a bride having her at your wedding, you’re in for a treat. This girl is so amazing!!

Tell us a little about yourself! Where are you from?

Hi friends – My name is Paige and I’m a wedding and portrait photographer serving Zanesville and Columbus Ohio! I’m actually from Cambridge, Ohio but moved to Zanesville after graduating High School.

What do you love outside of photography? 

Outside of photography, I love pretty much anything creative! I love helping other small business owners find fun and creative ways to engage their community on social media. I also really enjoy making jewelry and just this past year opened an Etsy shop for my handmade leather earrings! J

What is your favorite part about photographing weddings?

My favorite part about photographing weddings is having the opportunity to serve and care for a couple on one of the most important days of their lives! I love everything about weddings and capturing two unique people in love! My favorite part of the wedding day is photographing my couples’ portraits. The sweet, intimate moments after saying “I do” is just so sweet and special. I feel honored to be a part of it!

How did you get started in photography?

My Mom gave me my first DSLR camera as a Christmas gift in 2009, and I started taking photos of my pets and friends. I quickly realized how much I LOVED it. I photographed couples and families for a few years until 2012 when I shot my first wedding!

What season of life are you in right now? 

I’m in a season of planning as my fiancé and I are getting married in October of this year! After being a part of so many weddings, it’s been so much fun having the opportunity to plan my own!

What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

I have so many things to look forward to in 2019! In addition to marrying my best friend, I’ll be serving many couples on their wedding days. I’m also looking forward to meeting new couples through the Stephanie Kase Intern program!

What made you want to become a SK intern?

I wanted to become an SK intern after working with Stephanie a handful of times and realizing how passionate she is about her business and her couples. I believe every business-owner is in a stage of growing, regardless of how many years they’ve been in business – so I saw this as a learning opportunity that I couldn’t pass up! In addition to learning and growing, I wanted to help Stephanie serve her couples in a way that makes them feel cared for and loved on their wedding day!

What’s one thing in your life you are really grateful for?

I’m really grateful for the creative gifts God has given me. Because of it, I’ve met so many amazing people along the way! I’m also very grateful for my fiancé and pups, cooper and petey who keep life fun and interesting!

What’s one thing you’re loving lately?

One of my favorite things lately is podcasts. I recently started listening to podcasts while editing and traveling, and it’s so therapeutic for me! I love anything from true crime to business and financial related podcasts. Some of my favorites are Dave Ramsey, “Nobody Talks about this” By Scott and Elise Grice, and True Crime Garage (based out of Columbus – how cool!!).

What’s one fun fact about you?

I’m a crazy dog lover! I have two mini dachshunds that I’m absolutely obsessed with. Many of my couples will ask about bringing dogs to their engagement session and I’m always SO excited!!
