Oh my goodness… where do I even begin with these two?! Kimberly and Patrick have been an absolute DREAM couple from the start. Ever since they booked me as their wedding photographer (SO HONORED) I have been eagerly looking forward to their big day! Kimberly is so organized so we instantly clicked on that level, which I LOVE!! I could tell so early on that she was amazing at thinking about every little details and how they flow together. The best part is that this couple are two of the SWEETEST people you’ll ever meet. They are so genuine, kind-hearted, and were just excited to be MARRIED!!
Their wedding day was at the Estate at New Albany, a brand new venue in the Columbus, Ohio area! I have absolutely loved connecting with this venue and getting to know their team. I tell every couple that books there that they are going to be WELL taken care of, without a doubt!! Their team is flawless and it was a joy to work with them at our first real wedding together! I started off with photographing Kimberly, her bridesmaids, and their moms at Kimberly and Patrick’s home. It was so fun meeting them all and getting to know them throughout the day. They truly had an AMAZING bridal party!! So many wonderful and encouraging friends an family!
Their ceremony was held outdoors under the patio at the Estate. It was absolutely gorgeous, and one of the first (real) fall days we’ve had in Ohio this year. They could not have asked for a better day!! Their day turned out to be overcast, but right at the very end, the sky turned a bright orange at sunset… It was GLORIOUS!! It was so bright and beautiful, and came completely out of nowhere! Kimberly is absolutely obsessed with sunset photos, so it was no question that we needed to sneak outside to grab a few under the gorgeous sunset that came out! We were so excited!! Yes, the sun was REALLY that orange… to be honest, even MORE orange in real life. It was glorious and totally unexpected after an overcast day!! So glad we rushed outside for these sunset photos :)
