The first time I met Justin and Kelly, I have to say it felt like our initial consult felt like I was chatting it up with old friends- and we had JUST MET! They are two of the most genuine and caring people I have had the pleasure of serving and I can’t wait for their wedding day.

They originally met at college, but their love for each other didn’t blossom until after they graduated. Their relationship has been filled with a lot of time long distance, while Kelly was away in New York for a year and, recently, while Justin was training for the military in Texas. Justin proposed while Kelly was down visiting this past May. He planned a weekend packed with things they love to do together, and at the end, proposed at a state park while they watched the sunset. I loved hearing them recount this story, and they also mentioned that Justin loves to hold Kelly in his arms from behind- so of course, there was a lot of “prom pose” going on! :) I think it was my favorite on them!!

We started their engagement session at German Village, the most adorable spot in town, then headed to the Scioto Audubon Metropark (one of my favorites!). It was probably one of the most eventful engagements yet- we saw a friendly cat who visited us a few times in German Village, deer at the park, and of course a few squirrels, haha! Their wedding is next October (less than a year now!) in Kelly’s hometown of Mansfield, Ohio. I am so thrilled to be a part of their wedding experience and to be here to encourage them along the way!! :)

Kelly and Justin, thank you so much for taking the time to hang out with me! I had a blast getting to know you two even better and I could not be happier for you both and your engagement. Counting down the days until your wedding day!
