I have been eagerly looking forward to this week for SO long! Katrina and Andrew moved to Texas a couple years ago, so I didn’t have the chance to meet them when they initially chose me to be their wedding photographer. After keeping in touch for months, we decided to meet for their engagement session the week before their wedding, when they would be in town! Although neither of them are from Ohio, Andrew is from Michigan and Katrina is from Pennsylvania. Ohio was the perfect center place for both of their families to travel to for their big day. I’m SO EXCITED for their stunning venue, Maplewood Farms, as I haven’t had the chance to photograph a wedding there yet!!
Katrina and Andrew first met through the church they were attending. Every week, they would sit in the same area, and Andrew quickly took notice of Katrina. After their first date to a local art museum (which Katrina absolutely loved), they quickly became friends and fell for each other. About a year and a half later, Andrew knew she was the woman he wanted to marry. He carefully picked the perfect place at a beautiful park. After they had a picnic together, Andrew suggested they go for a walk- at this point, Katrina definitely knew something was up. Once they came to the right spot, he got down on one knee and asked Katrina to forever be in his life as his wife.
I am absolutely overjoyed to photograph their wedding THIS Saturday and for all that’s in store! I am so excited for the two of you, Katrina and Andrew! Thank you for taking the time to come for your engagement session and for letting me capture your day. I am overwhelmingly grateful and cannot wait for this weekend!!
