They’ve known each other all the way since middle school. During high school, they worked at the same local store for a long time… but didn’t really get to know each other past that. They went their separate ways during college, until they reconnected one day a few years ago. Since then, they’ve dated long distance. Ryan was in Dayton, while Caroline was a teacher in Dublin. When he decided to propose, Ryan took her to Highbanks Metropark to ask her to marry him in front of the eagle lookout (seriously the coolest proposal EVER, which you can read about at their engagement here).
They were married at Dublin Community Church in Dublin, Ohio, and held their reception at the Columbus Zoo. Oh my goodness, it was so fun! Caroline and Ryan are two of the most adorable, joyful people I know. After arriving at the zoo, they stepped out for a few minutes to pet and hold a kangaroo, snow leapord, penguin, and bearcat!! :) How cool is THAT! Outside the windows of the reception, there were giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and many other animals roaming around. What a neat and unique reception, and SO much fun! I was so grateful to have Michael along to help shoot their wedding day.
Caroline’s dress was STUNNING! So pouffy and absolutely gorgeous on her!
Her VEIL! Oh my goodness, it was so long and beautiful!!!
