It was so fun to see how all the details of Lyndsey and Joe’s wedding day came together. One of my FAVORITE parts was how, every day since they were engaged, Lyndsey wrote a page in a journal about reasons why she loved Joe. On their wedding day, she wrote the last page and gave it to him. She also gifted him a watch with note that stated, “See you at 3pm”.
Their faith was a big part of their day and integrated in such unique ways, from the sincere prayers spoken by her bridesmaids to the prayer between the two of them alone just before the ceremony. Joe was blindfolded and led to a room where Lyndsey awaited to pray for the last time as an engaged couple. It was sort of a “First Look” for Lyndsey. As soon as she saw Joe, her face was instantly filled with so much joy and excitement!! Their ceremony was held at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio, a beautiful church adorned with stained glass. Right before they were announced husband and wife, the entire bridal party was invited to the front to pray for them. It was so neat to see a couple so dedicated to their faith and to honoring God.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Heritage Barn in Stow, Ohio for the reception. One of my favorite details was pieces of paper for guests to write down their “marriage advice” on and stick them in a glass bottle according to which year they would like Lyndsey and Joe to open it and read it. The reception came to an end with an amazing sparkler exit!! What an exciting day for them both, and I’m so glad to have been apart of it! Thank you to Inphinite Photography for letting me come along and shoot!
To start, Lyndsey’s simple, yet beautiful dress! It looked beautiful against the colorful windows! :)
Her adorable shoes were bought and handmade by someone from another country! How cool is that!!
Her gooooorgeous wedding ring!! I am absolutely in LOVE!
The note and watch Lyndsey gave Joe before the ceremony.
What a sweet moment of prayer between the bridesmaids. Their loving friendships with each other definitely shined through. :)
Blindfolding Joe, right before he goes to pray with his future wife!
Absolutely LOVE Lyndsey’s reaction! She was so happy to see him!!
I’m pretty sure I got a weird look when I asked if they could sprint towards me with Lyndsey holding her dress. But I’m so glad they did, because it’s one of my favorite shots! :)
Throwing the bouquet! There were some pretty excited looks on these ladies’ faces! :)
And finally, the sparkler exit! They are one of my favorite ways to end a night!!
