Photo Sessions

Wedding at the Westin and La Scala in Columbus, Ohio – Presney & Ivon

December 26, 2017

I wrapped up my 2017 wedding season and it was AMAZING! Wow, I feel so honored and grateful to have captured Presney & Ivon’s wedding day. I just met these two for the first time in person a few weeks ago at their engagement session. Of course, we had to have their session on campus at Ohio State since it’s such a huge part of their lives!! They both met while attending school with Ivon being a football player and Presney going for marketing at Fisher (something we both have in common, I love it!!). From the moment I met them they exuded joy, and it quickly felt like we were already friends! :) What a joy!!!

From the moment we walked into the getting ready room, we felt welcomed and loved by all their friends and family. They had their ceremony at the gorgeous ballroom at the Westin in Columbus, Ohio, and oh my goodness, was it beautiful!! I have photographed a few receptions there before, but hadn’t had the chance to shoot a ceremony in the space. It was simply stunning!! Their ceremony was seriously one of the most beautiful and touching ceremonies I’ve attended. They both wrote their own vows, both pouring out their hearts and love for each other. It was really hard to hold back all the tears!! They were so personal and completely written from the heart. Their love for each other and God was so evident in those moments, as well as the love and support that came from their friends and family.

They ended the night with their reception at La Scala in Dublin, Ohio, and what a perfect place it was for their celebration!! We loved ending the night with their friends and family, celebrating the fact that they were now officially HUSBAND and WIFE! Now THAT is something to be excited about!! :) I loved every detail Presney put together for their reception space, but the donuts might just be my favorite. You’ll have to keep scrolling towards the end to see. ;)

Presney and Ivon, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to photograph your day!! Wow, I am so grateful and so EXCITED for you both that you are now officially married! What a blessing!! Enjoy being married and have a blast on your honeymoon. I can’t wait to share even more with you both, enjoy these sneak peeks! :)
